Injection of neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin is an easy and safe procedure, when injected by a highly certified and trained injector, that can create a positive facial message. Our focus is analyzing the unique and specific muscular movements of a face to determine the prescribed amount needed to soften lines and wrinkles. By achieving relaxation of a muscle, the skin can begin to restore some of the damage from repetitive movements. This allows the lines between the brows, smile lines around the eyes, and forehead lines to diminish. Neurotoxin prevents the creation of creases and wrinkles in the skin. It can also be used for more than just wrinkles: it can correct brow asymmetry, help migraines, lessen fullness above the eyes, turn up the corners of the mouth, create less of a gummy smile, and much more. This involves an in-depth facial analysis by our providers where anatomic structures are studied to determine your own dominant movements. Studied since 1987 and now used in over 500 medical procedures, the use of neurotoxin is one of the safest and most convenient cosmetic procedures available.

Neurotoxins are purified proteins which put muscles in “time out.” This allows the skin to relax and wrinkles to soften. Neurotoxin results are apparent within days, and longevity is patient & product dependent but generally last 3 to 6 months.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable solution consisting of poly-l lactic acid that is used to fight wrinkles + sagging skin by stimulating the body’s own collagen production to help restore plumpness, firmness, + youthfulness. collagen is found in all of our connective tissue, thus it can be injected into many variable areas to achieve wanted results. this requires a series of treatments to achieve adequate filling + firmness for collagen production but will last 2+ years.

ezPRF (PLATELET RICH FIBRIN)

PRF is the next generation of PRP (platelet rich plasma). It’s an autologous, 100% natural, no-additive injection formulated with higher concentrations of fibrin + white blood cells to allow for a much slower, longer release of growth factors + cytokines. PRF addresses skin texture, hair thinning/loss, + is full of growth factors to rejuvenate aging skin + fine lines.

ezGel (PLATELET RICH FIBRIN)

This technique uses PRF in a heating + cooling process to make a gel that can be injected + give immediate results for plumping the skin to diminish the appearance of aging + wrinkles. Volume from this procedure will last for several weeks + continue with the benefits of PRF.

At Beauty Sense MedSpa, we use the most advanced technology and techniques to restore the natural contours of the face. We use dermal filler to create a natural, youthful appearance for our clients. Our goal is to always create a natural look in our patients to make them simply look as energized as they feel. In the hands of a highly trained injector, filler can be used to contour and restore facial volume loss and provide facial rejuvenation. Our injectors have studied the art of facial anatomy which allows them to create customized treatments for clients with various types of filler that are available. When used in combination, dermal filler and neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) can create not only a more youthful appearance, but a lifted appearance without surgery. Chemical peels can be used to remove the top layer of damaged skin to reveal brighter, tighter skin. A series of peels are best for desired results as each level of peel can achieve deeper results. Chemical peels can address brown spots, melasma, fine lines, acne, pores, and texture. We will be offering an array of peels by ZO Skin Health including our Glow Peel and ZO 3-step Peel. Mid-Dermis Peels: these are deeper peels that penetrate further into the dermis, making your skin actually peel about 3-5 days after the solution is applied in office. peels remove the top layer of damaged skin to reveal brighter, tighter skin + address melasma, brown spots, fine lines, pore size, + texture. Our Perfect Derma Peel + ZO 3-Step Peel are both mid-dermis.
Glow Peel: a peel that gently exfoliates the top layer of skin to reveal a glowing complexion with no downtime
Jessner’s Peel: a milder peel, approved for all the Fitzpatrick Skin Ij,pes, that goes into the superficial layers of dermis. it is used to target melasma, uneven skin tone, post-iriflammatory hyperpigmentation, photodamage, acne, milia, comedones, and oily skin.

This type of facial treatment uses a minimally abrasive instrument to gently exfoliate skin – removing the thicker, uneven outer layer of the skin. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage, age spots, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Micro dermabrasion also aids in production of collagen for a younger, more glowing complexion.

Dermaplaning is a skin treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to remove dirt, dead skin cells, and “peach fuzz” hair from the face. This procedure leaves skin extremely smooth with a youthful glow and requires no downtime. Desired results from dermaplaning last from 4 to 6 weeks.

What is the difference between Microneedling and Microneedling RF?

Microneedling is a great option to manually boost collagen production by creating micro-punctures to the skin. Microneedling RF uses controlled micropunctures of the skin but also adds radiofrequency waves of our state of the art machine SylfirmX to rejuvenate skin’s appearance. SylfirmX is the first machine worldwide to offer both pulsed wave and continuous wave radiofrequency that in combinatation treat vascularity and skin rejuvenation. Microneedling RF promotes the production of collagen and elastin in the skin so it results in more effective tightening, pigmentation, & rejuvenation. Part of the SylifirmX treatment includes Exosomes Regenerative Complex, the most cutting edge scientific biotech breakthrough for clinically improving skin rejuvenation and regeneration available, harnessing the power of stem cell derived lyophilized exosomes potent growth factors, peptides, coenzymes, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins.

You can expect an hour-long appointment to allow time to go over the procedure, apply topical numbing, and perform the treatment. It is typical to expect mild to moderate redness the same day as your treatment and potential slight redness the next day. We provide clients with a customized after care kit + products to help provide optimal results. At Beauty Sense MedSpa, we use the Diode Laser, a laser that can be used on most skin types. Using selective light absorption, the Diode laser is absorbed by the melanin (color) of the hair. The light energy is taken up by the hair follicle and converted to heat energy; minimal energy is transferred to the skin. This process heats the hair and its DNA, while reducing oxygen organization around the hair follicle, reducing the chance of hair regrowth. Special cooling technology is applied simultaneously during treatment to cool and protect the skin. Clients can experience significant results in permanent hair reduction with 5 to 7 treatments on average.

When preparing for laser hair removal, we advise patients to not be in the sun or use sunless tanner for two weeks before each treatment. After treatment, we recommend clients wear sunscreen and avoid sun exposure for 1 to 2 weeks for best results.

What kind of laser do we use for this?

Diode laser. No sun or sunless tanner for two weeks prior. Wear sunscreen and no sun exposure for 1-2 weeks after. Must shave prior and needs multiple treatments for satisfactory goals. *from Mallory: changed this from laser hair “removal” to “reduction.” Can expect 10-15% reduction in hair growth per treatment, so we recommend 6-7 treatments per area.

CARTESSA PHYSIQ (NEW!): Physiq is the latest in body sculpting technology. it is used to burn fat, build muscles, + give an overall more toned, lean physique; it is great for targeting stubborn areas that diet/exercise have a difficult time addressing. Physiq is the only device to use sequential thermal + electrical pulse (STEP) technology for the body by incorporating both electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) + a super luminescent diode matrix (SDM).

Physiq can be paired w/Exilis or Sylfirm to increase skin tightening via radio frequency for added benefits. Price varies on desired treatment area +/or combination of treatments.

BTL Exilis

BeautySense will be offering the popular BTL Exilis for noninvasive body contouring and skin tightening service. BTL Exilis device employs a breakthrough combination of ultrasound heat and radio frequency waves simultaneously to treat a variety of cosmetic concerns by tightening skin while also dissolving fat cells. The ultrasound element allows the unit’s radiofrequency energy to heat the tissue faster, easier, and more effectively. Due to this combination of these two energies, the results of the treatments are far more superior, consistent, safe and comfortable. This technology is used to tighten skin on multiple areas of the body but is most often utilized to treat bags around the eyes, sagging eyelids, and sagging chin and neck area. Exilis is also used to contour areas of stubborn fat such as the bra area, knees, love handles, abdomen, thighs, and more.

The BTL Exilis treatment is safe for patients of all ages, BMI, and skin tone who are showing signs of aging or want to improve those problem areas where diet or exercise has failed. For skin tightening, the Exilis uses heat to stimulate collagen production to produce a smoother and firmer look and feel to the skin. For body contouring, the heat that penetrates through the fat tissue permanently destroys the fat cells in order to sculpt and slim the body’s silhouette. Over the course of treatments, the skin tightens and overall thickness of the fat layer decreases, leading to incredible results.

This service is a procedure that is used to eliminate those unwanted varicose veins and spider veins most commonly seen in the legs by gently injecting a sclerosing solution into the vein that causes it to collapse and leaves you with smoother, clearer skin. Bold, dark lashes are a striking complement to your polished and refreshed visage. With a hint of lift and tint you can flaunt natural, full looking lashes for an always polished and put together look. An eyelash lift + tint can be thought of as a perm for your eyelashes. Unlike a lash extension, a lash lift simply alters the shape of your natural lashes and is a semi-permanent curl. Tinting is optional and is recommended for clients who have lighter colored lashes or who just want to forego using mascara. This treatment involves boosting and lifting each individual lash which makes them appear thicker, darker, and longer looking. There is no downtime, however, we simply recommend not wetting your newly lifted lashes or applying mascara to them for 24 hours after the service.

This wildly popular brow service is essentially a perm for your eyebrows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. They can be done alone or in combination. Brow lamination hides small gaps and gives the illusion of thicker, more shaped brows. The solution that is applied to eyebrows sets the hairs in place and lasts anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending on client after-care. Brow tinting is the perfect complement to a lamination to make your eyes pop and your smile shine brighter. This is a fabulous and cost-effective alternative to brow microblading. Initial Consultation and Renew Facial

We book all first-time clients for a 90 minute experience with our license esthetician. We start with a gentle cleansing and skin analysis while asking important questions to have a good understanding of the client’s skin type, problematic areas, current lifestyle habits, allergies, and long-term skin goals. The esthetician then will determine the specific products from our ZO medical grade skin care as well as our own private label products.

The Renew Facial

This tailored facial will then begin with deep steam cleaning followed by any necessary extractions, high frequency treatment to eliminate any toxins or bacteria, a exfoliation and/or mild microdermabrasion treatment, and then dermaplaning where a layer of peach fuzz facial hair is removed, leaving the skin ultra smooth and open for maximum absorption. After dermaplaning, a lymphatic massage is performed to improve circulation and reduce puffiness and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Lastly, an optional custom chemical peel can be applied to regenerate and rejuvenate skin on a deeper cellular level.

Signature Renew Facial

Our most luxurious and pampering service is a full 90 minutes that includes all the features of the Renew Facial with an addition of a lavish upper body massage.

Gentleman’s Facial

This 75 minute facial includes a deep steam cleaning with any necessary extractions followed by a high frequency anti-bacterial treatment. Next, comes exfoliation and microdermabrasion, dermaplaning (as desired), a lymphatic massage and a light chemical peel, as well as brow grooming, as desired.

Acne Facial

This facial is for all ages, specifically formulated to treat breakouts and acne, control oil production, unplug compactions, eliminate bacteria and reduce inflammation. This deep cleansing treatment is 45 minutes long and focuses on gentle extractions and educating on proper skincare habits for optimal skin health.

Miracu polydioxanone (PDO) threads are ultra-thin medical grade sutures that are used in facial rejuvenation to provide instant lifting and tightening to the associated areas. Miracu PDO threads are a FDA approved, nonsurgical, noninvasive procedure that uses medical grade sutures passed under the skin’s surface to life and tighten loose or sagging facial tissue with little to no downtime.

PDO threads instantly create a lift while triggering a boost in your own body’s production of collagen and elastin. The PDO thread itself acts as a temporary scaffolding upon which the tissue is arranged to provide the instant lift and will gradually dissolve over 6 months. This in turn, produces volume, tightening, and firming of your skin as the thread dissolves. They can be placed in the forehead, eye area, mid and lower face, and neck to address skin laxity, jowls, and nasolabial folds.

Although the thread itself dissolves in about 6 months, the effects from the stimulation of collagen and elastin generally last 12-18 months before clients will want to return to maintain results. However, they will always have an increase in firmness and collagen in the area.
